FDA awards five grants to advance the development of pediatric medical devices

The UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium is one of five centers across the country to receive a five-year grant from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to support pediatric device innovation. This is the fourth cycle of grants provided by the PDC Grants Program, which launched in 2009.

Chris Jones joins UCSF-Stanford PDC as Product Development Lead

Please join us in welcoming Chris Jones to the UCSF-Stanford PDC team. As Director of Product Development, Mr. Jones will work closely with PDC members to develop product development plans and connect them to technical resources and services to push their devices toward commercialization. He has over 25 years of experience with all phases of medical device design and development and has worked with large medical device companies as well as startups.

The Food and Drug Administration has reopened the comment period for "Pediatric Medical Device Development Public Meeting; Request for Comments," allowing interested parties to submit comments until November 26, 2018.

Pediatric Medical Devices Symposium: Safety & Protection by Innovation & Development

Join participants from the international medical device industry for workshops and research sessions on pediatric device development at the 2nd Symposium for Pediatric Medical Devices in Lubeck, Germany.
