PDC Prototyping Lab

The UCSF PDC has a 1,440 sq. foot prototyping lab, incuding a 195 sq. foot machine room, 400 sq. foot web lab, and 500 sq. foot prototyping space, at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. The machine room has the following equipment: heated PID controlled 1 ton press, CNC mill (Tormac 440), belt sander, bench grinder with stand, vertical-horizontal bandsaw, shop compressor, Form 2 SLA printer, wire bonder, and laser cutter. Additional hand tools and accessories for machining, prototyping electronics, and OR equipment are also available to PDC members.
